Our client is looking for experienced commercial and industrial electricians to help with their projects across the North East.
Job Description
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Working closely with architects and engineers to ensure that all of the building’s systems are properly integrated into one another.
- Installing wiring and electrical components, like switches and lights.
- Maintaining electrical systems.
- Inspecting electrical systems to be sure they work, are safe and are up to code.
- Diagnosing and fixing problems in wiring or electrical components.
- Reading and using technical drawings.
- Achieving compliance with national electrical safety standards and regulations for electrical systems.
- Completing work orders and keeping track of tools and supplies utilized
- Full electrics from the ground up on some projects
Personal Specification
- Must have commercial or industrial experience.
- Must be Time served Electrician
- JIB/ECS is essential
- IPAF is essential
- 17th/ 18th Edition desirable
- 2391 Testing and Inspecting desirable
- Must drive and have their own transport is essential.
