Career Opportunities in Industrial

Since 2001, we’ve been delivering temporary volume recruitment solutions to support clients’ fluctuating labour requirements. We still supply our first client with their temporary workforce, which should say a little about the experience and trust we’ve earned in planning and executing long-term resource plans. Equally as important, we can react quickly to deliver fully screened candidates to meet fast-changing people requirements.

We deliver a broad range of temporary recruitment services—these range from specialist contract appointments right through to volume solutions across a range of industries, including Automotive, Food and Packaging, FMCG, Warehousing and Distribution, plus a number of others

At Zenith People, we value integrity above all. We comply with all current legislation and industry best practices, ensuring that our temporary recruitment services are of the highest standard. To that end, we have secured ISO9001:2015 accreditation and are members of the ALP, hold a GLAA licence, and are partners with the Stronger Together initiative. Industrial Jobs FAQs

What do we mean by Industrial roles?

At Zenith, we define the industrial sector as our volume recruitment area, which supplies temps and perm staff for production, quality logistics, and semi-skilled roles.

What qualifications are required for Industrial jobs?

Most industrial roles do not require a degree by default; specific qualifications vary depending on the role, but common requirements include certifications for insurance purposes, such as drivers’ or FLT licences. Generally, the only things needed to work on these roles are an RTW and a good level of English for H&S purposes.

What are the typical working hours?

Working hours can vary, but many positions in industrial and logistics involve shift work, including evenings and nights, and, depending on the pattern, weekends. The work environment can be physically demanding, with exposure to noise, chemicals, and heavy machinery, however PPE and basic training will be provided.

What are the career advancement opportunities in Industrial?

With experience and skill development, you can progress to management positions such as warehouse manager, operations manager, or supply chain director, and advance through a business into mid and senior-level roles.
