We’re on the lookout for a talented and experienced Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Duties & responsibilities
- Champion the engineering function across all areas of production
- Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes
- Collaborate in design reviews and liaise with equipment suppliers to integrate new technologies
- Define and measure performance metrics that push boundaries while remaining achievable
- Shape quality strategies to meet and exceed KPIs
- Create and approve process documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality operations
- Manage planning, scheduling, and project execution
- Oversee the procurement of production facilities and ensure safe working environments
The Person we are looking for will have
- Proven experience in manufacturing and process engineering (minimum 5 years)
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other relevant software
- A logical, proactive mindset with excellent negotiation and planning abilities
- Quick adaptability to new technologies and a passion for learning
Qualifications
- Technical Degree or equivalent professional experience in process engineering
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing and special-purpose assembly machines
- Familiarity with machinery legislation and standards
- Expertise in process layout planning, scheduling, and change management
- Hands-on knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis
- Ability to manage contractors and interface with suppliers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- A self-starter attitude with a hunger for personal and professional growth
