Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Manager on a permanent basis.  You will mainly be responsible for overseeing the Quality department within a high-volume manufacturing business. This position requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise and responsibilities are as follows:-

  • Develop and implement a robust quality strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the continuous improvement of quality processes, systems, and methodologies.
  • Establish key quality metrics
  • Provide expert guidance on quality best practices across the organisation.
  • Development of Quality organisation inline with current expansion projects
  • Oversee all quality departments to ensure consistent and high-quality manufacturing standards.
  • Develop and optimise quality control processes for manufacturing and supplier quality management.
  • Ensure rigorous defect detection, analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and problem-solving activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure full adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable quality standards.
  • Act as the primary quality interface with key customers, addressing concerns and driving proactive quality measures
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to drive quality improvements and defect prevention.
  • Conduct supplier audits and develop corrective action plans for performance improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality management within High Volume manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
  • Proven experience leading quality functions
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Traveling: This role involves limited travel

  • Up to 10 – 20% when required.
