Zenith People are currently recruiting for an internationally recognised Manufacturing Company situated in Jarrow with very good transport links.

The role responsibilities:

• Operation of hand tools
• Carry out close work
• Manual handling/ dextrous work
• Accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ability to follow instructions
• Use of initiative and flexible working attitude
• Able to demonstrate they meet the minimum entry level 3 of numeracy and literacy to NVQ standards
• Complete paperwork correctly
• Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace
• Follow health and safety rules.

The person we’re looking for:

• Experience of working in a high-volume production environment is desirable
• Able to work as part of a team
• Able to work on own initiative when necessary
• Able to work to within tight cycles/deadlines and with minimum supervision
• Able to work in a safe manner
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work to standards
• Good Manual dexterity.

Shift Pattern:

First 8 weeks: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 1pm

Post 8 weeks: 3 on 3 off – 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Overtime
