Our client is looking for an experienced Highway Inspector to work a short-term contract in Newcastle.
The role responsibilities:
- Oversee the contractors work
- Assisting other inspectors
- Inspecting of an A road
- Ensuring the safety of the roads
- Enforcing highway regulations
- Supervise reactive and highway maintenance work
- Maintain detailed records of work completed
The person we’re looking for:
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Highway experience is desirable
- Must be capable to walk significant miles on a daily basis
- A degree in civic engineering, construction management or equivalent is desirable
