Zenith people are currently representing a metal fabricator based in North shields that’re recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder. They’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

The role responsibilities:

• Welding and fabricating sheet metal.
• Read and interpret drawings to understand requirements, dimensions, tolerances, and welding specifications.
• Keep to tight deadlines.
• Use specialised tools and equipment, such as clamps and jigs to properly align and secure components during the welding process.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and the proper use of PPE.

The person we’re looking for:

• Must have 2 to 4 years experience in the same/ similar role.
• Must have IPAF and PASMA certifications.
• Available to interview and start as soon as possible.

Hour and pay:

• 12 weeks temp to perm.
• 8am to 4:30pm, but hours can be flexible.
• Hourly rate is DOE but is a minimum of £15 but can be as high as £20 per hour.
